Robert Baudhuin
Branch Manager

Robert Baudhuin knows what banking is all about: SECURITY.

“While times are changing and uncertain, it’s good to know that some things haven’t,” say Baudhuin, branch manager of Dollar Bank at 5180 Warrensville Center Road in Maple Heights. “We never forget how hard people work for their money – and we never forget whose hard-earned money it is.”

Baudhuin’s philosophy reflects the very principle on which Dollar Bank was founded in 1855. In that year, founder Charles Colton insisted that a single dollar is all a person should need to open an account. That vision has flourished over the past 145 years into a diversified financial institution with more than $4 billion in assets. Yet, for all its astonishing growth, Dollar Bank remains committed to the principle of community banking.

“I’m not just another number,” said Mike Brinkman, owner of Suburban Car and Truck in Maple Heights. “If I have questions or need advise, I can call Bob at Dollar Bank. I really enjoy my working relationship with Bob. He knows my business and I like knowing my banker.”

And Baudhuin likes knowing about his account holders.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is establishing relationship with people of the community.” Said Baudhuin, who is also a director of the Maple Heights Chamber of Commerce. “Though we have 53 branches across the region, we remain a community bank serving neighbors – from sponsoring boy’s baseball to working with local business owners.
It is perhaps this kind of accessibility that distinguishes Dollar Bank, whose Maple Heights branch has served the community since 1984. If you are interested in learning more about Dollar Bank, feel free to give Baudhuin or any of his staff members a call at (216) 475-7770.
